Kion would rather go and have fun exploring, but he also knows that he needs to stay clean as a guardian of the Tree of Life in training, being the youngest ever selected by the Lion Guards of the Past. So he let's his Tree of Life mother, Queen Rani, groom him. He doesn't hate getting baths, just hates the timing. But when mother says it's bath time, it's bath time. No argument, lest he feel the wrath of a frustrated Queen Mother.

A continuation of my ongoing story of an alternate reality where Kion was born far after the events of Lion King 2 and Rani is already an adult when he's just a little cub.
