Description
As Kion was helping Kiara with her duties around the Pridelands, helping keep Jaguar cubs company, he had notice a big snake sneaking up on Kiara. This was no ordinary snake. This was Maacha the python, the biggest and nastiest python in the Pridelands. She had a very mean reputation. Even other serpents kept their distance from her. She had planed to attack Kiara, but Kion had moved Kiara out of the way in time, but sadly, he was struck square in they eyes by a secretion that Maacha spat. A blinding secretion that gave her the advantage when hunting her prey, so they couldn't see where she was coming from as she used her coils, rather than poisoning them, but because Kion was so young, the secretion's potentcy actually knocked him out. Kion's quick act had gotten Kiara, the Jaguar mother, and the Lion Guard to take a ready stance, and even if Maacha attack one, she knew the rest would would have their teeth in her once she did. Her plan had been to blind Princess Kiara, and coil her quickly to gain the upper hand, and make demands that determined the Princess's fate. A hostage situation of sorts, but Kion's unexpected interference had thwarted her plan. She should have acted when Kion had been hit, but she had hesitated out of the surprise interference with young prince. Kiara soon passed judgement on Maacha to exile her, since she had the right of judgement when the King and Queen were absent. She asked the great Eagle Anga to escort Maacha to the border. Kiara knew Anga was the only bird Maacha and all other serpents in the Pridelands feared. She was so strong, she had been able to lift Vitani out when she had gotten herself stuck in a sinkhole. Maacha was no match of Anga.

With Maacha's departure, Kiara quickly finished her agreement conversation with the Jaguar mother, and soon carried her little brother Kion back, with The Lion Guard escorting the royal siblings home.

(Another prequel piece to my alternate universe Kion being blind rater than poisoned when coming to the Tree of Life, and being far younger than his sister and Rani. Wanted to give everyone a taste of what Maacha looked like.)

Also, before you may say anything, yes, I know pythons aren't known for using some sort of blinding spit, but I thought I'd use some creative liberties, so cut me some slack.
