Description
In a twist on a story within another story, we find Rani with three cute cubs in her arms. One was the daughter she gave birth to, whom she named Shani. Then, she also had a Liger cub and Winter Cub in her arms. They're names were Crystal and Baraka.

In a twist of fate, when Kion had stopped Banya from finishing off the cubs at the pass, and sent him off, and the tigress was still alive. But she was dying, there would be no way to get to the Tree of Life in time to heal. She told Kion, the Night Pride and Royal Guard of what had happened. She revealed the Winter Cub's name to be Crystal, daughter of the late Juno, an old winter pride rebel friend of Rani's. She revealed the Liger to be her own son, and the son of Maruka, her lion mate, and a winter pride lion outcasted for his fur color not similar to the rest. But before she could reveal the liger cub's name, she took her last breath and went to visit the ancestors of the heavens. The King, Night Pride and Royal Guard mourned the mother's passing, but knew she died the hero's death, having protected the innocent cubs. Kion was a little Reluctant, as was Surak, about the two cubs, but, seeing they were so innocent, and so young, there was no way they could be evil, and they had not been marked with the mark of evil. And if both were the result of outcasted members of the Winter Pride, Surak did reason that, even without the fact they were just babies, they posed no threat to the Tree of Life's peace and prosperity.

The fact that the Tigress and her lion mate even made the journey here to keep them safe was reason enough to assume that if the Winter Pride learned that the cubs' parents were gone, they'd come looking for both, and possibly ending both. One for being the daughter of a rebel, the other for being a hybrid. Kion couldn't bare the thought of leaving them here. They needed a mother's care, and soon. Kion knew the two could never replace the son he and Rani lost recently, but there was no way Kion could turn them away. The tigress had entrusted the cubs to him with her dying breath. He couldn't break that trust. It wasn't the lion he was. So, he had the two cubs brought to the Tree of Life. At first Rani thought her mate had lost his marbles with the Winter cub, but after hearing the whole of the situation, she agreed. There was no way they could turn these cubs away. They need a family. A loving family. The Winter Pride surely wouldn't give them that, and Juno would not smile down on Rani if she committed such a betrayal, and the Tigress mother that resided in the lands of the Tree of life already had her paws full with dealing with her own cubs by herself, so, she couldn't entrust the Liger cub to her. After careful thought and discussion, Rani was certain she would be their mother, and would treat them as if they were Shani's birth siblings. Raja and Sawa would be in for quite a shock after they returned from patrol with their Uncle Banyo, who would be just as shocked, but accepting.

This is an alternate setup of what could have happened had Crystal arrived with Baraka and his mother and father at the mountain pass. This takes place within the world of Through-the-movies' world and includes mentions of his OC's as well as showing the OC me and him came up with. We also have Shani, Thunderstar711 's OC as a baby cub.

Thought I'd throw in this alternate scenario of when they were all babies, and possibly offer some story branch ideas for Thunderstar711 and Through-the-movies to try out for their own story setups if they like.
