Im so fatigued from these commissions dear god.For about 4-5 months ive been opening coms about every month and taking around 6 slots each time.
Im actually getting very tired of these and im considering not opening them so much and not taking so many at a time.
Closing them completely would be nice but i still have to pay my phone bill each month ($50) so i cant do that, and i still somewhat enjoy drawing other peoples characters at times.
I could go on a whole rant/vent but i seriously dont think anyone would care.
For people who are looking to commission me in the future; prices will be raised again, so starting saving up.
This is a commission for Sketched-Dragons , sorry this took so long and thank you for being so damn patient ;w;;
I try not to take over a month to finish a commission, but this one exceeded that, so please forgive me.

I think artists need a lot of time to recharge. I don't believe an artist can produce art nonstop like a machine, and definitely not long term. I wish I could give some solid advice, but I have not spent any time building a clientele. I'm also really stubborn when it comes to getting in the very least minimum wage for my time and work. However, I support you wholeheartedly if you decide to raise your prizes. I am a strong believer in that an artist should charge prices that makes them motivated to accept commissions, because this will translate directly into better work, better service, and better health so you can do art happily long term without burn out.

And yeah, raising your prices would probably be the best option for your situation if you still need the money but just find it exhausting to do so many.

and boy to I feel you with the comms thing...it does get super taxing constantly stressing over pumping someone's paid work out in a decent period of time. And it's nice being able to draw your own characters/ideas every once in awhile!! Whatever you decide to do though, I wish you the best <33

This is beautiful!! And honestly, hey I do notice your comms tend to fill up in a few hours, so you could definitely afford to raise the prices and you should!! It's the worst thing to be forced drawing a comm when you want to be doing something else so like, better take fewer comms when you can afford it than wreck your inspiration I think.
