I used to think Kira was alright and that L was creepy. But as the series progressed I liked L more and more, but I still liked Light, and I loved the mind battles they would fight with each other. But then Light killed him and now I miss L and hate Light. Near is adorable and as close to L as you can get, so he's my 2nd fave character.

Mello's ok, but I think Near is better! I also think Teru Mikami is pretty cool too, but I've never really liked Misa.

Near is better, but Mello makes me laugh more. (the faces he makes! XD ) Mikami is pretty cool. I liked Misa in the beginning--she made things so tricky for Light--but now she's become a comic relief. ^^'
