A newly designed version of the pulse rifle now called the "Firebird" which was created after a research base near an old predator temple was compromised and multiple lives were lost...(To those who hate that avp explanation then it was made a few years after lv426 so it could be easier to kill Xenomorphs faster but the rifle is pointless if the person who has it is in a hive with aliens coming at you from all directions and you have no one to cover your back.) It's the most powerful weapon compared to it's original processer and is a beautiful looking gun that can cause damage to people if not used right.
This gun is capable of many functions, the Firebird Pulse Rifle is much more stronger then it's original model and has multiple modes to kill anything or anyone that comes in it's way...Or the person who uses it, It's outlawed on Earth for these reasons but the military use it for being a powerful gun that is lightweight and packs the extra punch they need...The Black Market can get ahold of these puppies but they cost a lot of money for the gun itself and less for the ammo needed for it.

*Be advised, Caution when you use it because this weapon has enough power to blow the head off a Xenomorph, contact with human flesh from a bullet will feel like a small drop of lava being shot at you....It's the worst feeling in the world and can make a grown man cry in agony and make them a easy target to the one shooting it, but people who use these or those who are prepared to fight foes who use these guns have medical gel that can ease the pain of the shot. But they still require some very important surgery in order to remove the bullet that if not treated in twenty four hours could possibly kill them.*

The grenades that it can shoot out are: Firegrenades, Electricballs, Slimeshots, Normal issued grenades, Stunballs and Gasbombs.

Firegrenades are grenades that pretty much explode into instant fire. The Original 'Firebomb' (invented by a company similar to Wey-Yu) could cause a large scale fire to a forest or a house, that will more then likely kill those inside of the building if they don't escape in time, These Deadly 'Firebombs' have been buffed by Wey-Yu to only just cause a small fire on one or two people that were close to the grenade shot in their area. But the grenade if careful enough could be rigged to it's original mode that was the greatest and most powerful grenade in known history. The Original 'Firebomb' is currently banned from Earth, Mars and Seventeen Colonies. If anyone is caught with the Original 'Firebomb' they will be sentenced to death since the fire from the original could spread fast and it's smoke is lethal to inhale.

Electricballs can feel like knives or needles being shot into all parts of your body, it's not a good feeling for the lighthearted but battle hardened men like the Colonial Marines and Soldiers in the Phoenix Legion were trained to not be affected by the feelings of those grenades no matter how painful it feels. But they can't exactly take the feelings they get from the other grenades types and for some it could result in an instant death..

Slimeshots shoot a slime like substance to stick an enemy to the wall or current position they were in, It's also used to trap Xenomorphs that escape from their cells in Wey-Yu Research Labs...

Stunballs just shoot electricity that could knock out earths largest mammal, To humans it puts them unconscious instantly but Aliens take a while to fall asleep and requires two or three more shots to make sure it happens.

Gasbombs are similar to stunballs and is a sleep agent for any who come into contact with it. It's advised to all soldiers who use this to wear a helmet in order to avoid being exposed to the toxin, it can't kill as far as people know but will feel like a sleep drug that people take to sleep at night.

The Firebird Pulse Rifle has only three fire modes: basic fire, Incendiary rounds and Frozen rounds.

Incendiary rounds are not so different then the common rounds used for this rifle but the Incendiary rounds can light a person on fire for a split second but with enough shots could kill a person quicker then the normal rounds could ever do. These might be treatable but a expert medic could only be able to remove the bullets without causing harm to any human organ it was shot at or is pretty close to in the body...

Frozen rounds shoot the most coldest rounds into a body, Imagine the water of the Antarctic even more colder and shot at you in the form of bullets, These rounds can be treated but it requires heat in order to make removing them less painful so you need to be in the most coldest setting area possible to feel cold and then turn up the temperature in order to make the victim feel better and easy to remove these rounds..

The gun itself is acid proof from all types including Aliens and has the additional option to place a knife or a stun rod in the slot where the grenades should shoot right out of (Just throw a switch nearby the grenade launcher and it can become a slot to stick a knife into it so you can be able to charge at enemies and stab them or shock them too.)

This weapon is being used by Weyland Yutani Mercs, Colonial Marines and the Phoenix Legion.....

[It's also a personal favorite of Lee Crowe, Even though he got hit (by some of the stuff mentioned in this profile) a lot during the journey they spent trying to escape from Wey-Yu....Xeena had to learn how to be a combat medic and learn to treat wounds as she and Lee would work together, Today she recalls it being the most scariest time of her life (At least now after making Lee her mate) since she had to remove the bullets and treat Lee even when she still hated him at that time.

Now she worries that if she wasn't careful he could have died from the injuries he had and sometimes she hates him for getting injured like he did and risking his life when fighting...She makes up for this terrible time by being very loving and affectionate to Lee in order to make him feel better even years after the horrible surgery he had to go through. She tries to forget about the treatment that he needed badly and pain he felt during it, She is in great pain and distress when she thinks about that time and needs Lee more then ever to remind her that he is her Soul Mate and that he's alive and right there for her for the rest of his life.]
