Anyway...um...just some funny little critter thats been lurking around in my head for a while, watching Alien: Resurrection twice in one day prompted me to get off my lazy ass and draw it.

they are called weirds and they're enigmatic dog-sized creatures native to the planet of Morbia. They are extremely intelligent and can speak telepathically; they have prodigous psychic powers. These creatures are hairless and their skin is a dark skin tone with odd brindle markings. They have no eyes and are effectively blind but use a type of psychic sonar that is more accurate than the sonic sonar used by bats. Weirds' telepathic abilities eliminate the need to make vocal sounds but if they do need to vocalize, the only sounds they make are hisses and a low, deep, wet growl that sounds like it should belong to a much larger animal.
