This is so true, I'm an MS Paint user and it's not that hard. I dispise bases too, I wish people could draw their own art instead of useing a base.

Bases are a great way to learn anatomy, good bases that is haha. Plus, when you don't have to worry about the body, you can focus on hair, eyes, and clothes. Learning anatomy is important, but bases are are not bad. I started out with bases, and I still use them. I want to draw cute clothes without worrying about the body.

I always love when people colour the clothes sack against the person's skin. There's no separation between the two.
And BTW, that yellow is making my eyes throw up! Excellent job.

I use MS Paint. It is hard but in my opinion better to use than Photoshop.
