Well.. Quality isn't that big of a factor when it comes to concept art, the purpose is to convey ideas after all.
Not sure if I'm the only one, but I feel that the sense of scale here could be a bit better. Might be because you're trying to make a smooth transition on the left side, but the actual distance in the foreground in contrast to the landmarks in the background make it seem warped or forced. You could perhaps try and darken the tones in the foreground even further, enhancing the fact that the character is viewing what appears to be an enormous distance. As it is now he's almost swallowed up by the background. The scaling is also not helped by the dragons in the sky, as they seem almost ridiculously gigantic in relation to the land beneath them, which add another weird contrast to the dragon in the foreground, as they seem to be of the same type.
Personally, I'm not liking the placement and action of the dragon, but that may be because I don't understand their relationship. This could perhaps be further helped if the character interacted with the dragon in some way, say by looking at him for instance.
Just my fifty cents, take from it what you will.

The world is inexplicably full of badly executed or thought of work. It's not often that I come across a piece so far from the norm that it's breathtaking! This is one of those pieces!
Even just the thumbnail of this piece makes me want to jump through my computer monitor and into this world. I've always been one for fantasy and there are plenty of worlds other than our sadly real one that I would love to visit or even be a part of. This just jumped from unknown to the top of my list!
Your work on this piece is phenomenal, and every detail is established so well! I can't even begin to imagine how much work it took to create this. But no matter how much time you spent, it was NOT wasted.
You have talent.

This is absolutely AMAZING!
