With news coming out that the Syrian Arab Army is heading North to defend Rojava from the ongoing Turkish invasion I would like to proclaim my support for both the Syrian Arab Republic and the Syrian Democratic Forces. [1] It is my belief that solidarity between the two groups will give them the strength to repel Erdogan's invasion of Rojava as well as defeat the jihadist forces occupying Idlib province. Contrary to popular opinion, Assad and the YPG have been cooperating for years now, with the Syrian government having given the Kurds many weapons to defeat to ISIS and other terrorists. [2] Assad has also shown that he is not the absolute dictator that many in the West make him out to be, and has been open to talks for the federalization of Syria which would give greater autonomy to Rojava. [3][4]

So I hope that the Syrian and Kurdish forces will be successful in repulsing the Turkish invasion, and will form an united front to push out the terrorists (many of which are backed by Turkey [5]) in Afrin and Idlib as well so that the Syrian Civil War can finally come to an end. It is a tragedy that this war has gone on for so long and claimed so many lives, and I hope that Western countries can kick Turkey out of NATO and stop giving them weapons with which they are currently killing innocent Kurdish, Arab, and Assyrian civilians. Down with Erdogan! Hands off Syria! Rojava Will Win!
