im glad because smiling is not the only expression, but so many people are afraid of the other emotions.

Well I never had a problem showing my true emotions in my day to day life, even though I do spend a lot of it smiling and laughing. But posing is like acting, it makes you come out of yourself to portray either an emotion or character,or whatever. So if you're shy or afraid of being embarrassed (or completely paralyzed by fear at the very thought of humiliation like I used to be) it's hard to do anything but smile and look pretty. Especially when people rave about your smile...it's easier to please people, then you don't get embarrassed.

But it's not about pleasing people. It's about art and expression and changing the goddamn world! So over the years I learned not to get embarrassed or hurt so easily,and when I do I shrug it off and use it to build my strength up that much more. I take the power away from the haters and turn it into strength...MY strength!
