Description
My first time making a tutorialPhotoshop CS2
Wacom Tablet
8.5 hours
Replies to those who thinks this is unhelpful:
Well I can't read minds, the way I learn must be very different than yours, maybe when I have time I'll go back and add LOTS AND LOTS OF EXPLAINATIONS!!!!!! maybe.... or maybe i'll hire a writer who will note down what I did...maybe...when school is over...all the maybes
I'll definetly try to give some of those who ask a tutorial on quick mask (with lots and lots of explainations). But like I say, this is not the ONLY method to cging, it's not healthy, espicially if you're stingy on time and RAM, this is fast and efficient.
For those who wants to do fun effects and such there are these places: [link] [link] [link]
But if you didn't understand my tutorial you might not get some of these, I teach the way I learn, people that can draw don't usually know how to teach. If I have to explain every single detail I did for this piece, it would be way too long and weird to upload here...I think it's best if I can sit in the same room with those I teach...or I'll probably go into more detail when I get a webpage running for it...maybe

I've just bought a tablet, and after looking through a lot of tutorials(I wasn't sure how to start coloring a drawing I've made, and wanted a new method). Finally I found this one, and it helped me a lot! It made everything much more easy than what I've done before! I didn't know about quickmask before, but now I do and I'm going to use that a lot x)
Thank you so much for making this tutorial!

Thank you SO MUCH for making this tutorial! I've been looking for a simpler way to work with light and shadows in color, cause I tend to think of light and shadows in black and white easier! Thank you thank you thank you so much!!!! <3 <3 <3

THANK YOU, so much! ^^
I definitely will use this!
I studied a lot of tuturials the last few weeks and donΒ΄t understand anything XD
My main problem is that IΒ΄m german and so have a german photoshhop. Thats why most of the instructions that are described in the tuturials didnΒ΄t match with itXD
But now, since my favourite Artist create a tuturial I will work!
Thanx! ^^

I think this is a wonderful and very helpful tutorial... and I have a question for you:
How do you get such nice straight lines with your wacom? Mine are always so scribbly... is that just a practice thing or is there an actual photoshop setting that actually allows you to have more control with the pen?

I just have one question (though I'm not sure if it's been answered already or not... >< I don't feel like sifting through ALL those comments...). How do you get the nice black lines after you've done it all in white? I've tried every way I know how and it's just too thick every time.
