Then James had to navigate the strange phenomenon of cleavage and hips that grew further and further outward at explosive rates. Now he couldn't walk through the city without encountering half a dozen women who were literal giants. The crack of their heels reverberated around the buildings, their voices carried for several city blocks, and they never failed to flaunt their modified figures with an air of casual arrogance.

At least, James thought, Cindy is still normal. He could scarcely imagine his petite, vegan girlfriend signing up to transform herself into one of these enormous women. Wasn't she the one who first pointed out that the enhanced woman's carbon footprint was ten times greater than a normal person? But he'd noticed the way she looked at them these days. She didn't look shocked anymore, or even morally indignant. She looked curious. Almost jealous.
