Description
This my first wooden hand made decorative shield!Made of wood slices joined together and cut of in a circular shape.
Wood has being distressed and burned.
The design around is a part of a dragon ornament on a silver Viking cup (Jelling, Denmark)
Hammer burned on an extra piece of wood and placed on main shield.
Many oxidized spines embellished shield.
Dimensions: 40cm diameter

This looks awesome - the wear and tear adds a lot to its appeal ! Great idea to give it a weathered look rather then brandnew polished... Would love to see a photo when it is actually mounted on your wall!
How much time did you spend on it? How much did the pyrography take up? Have you done other stuff like this - I am curious, because usually leather is your domain

I don't like brandnew and shining objects, not match to my temperament
Unfortunately this was a committed item, so can't see it on my wall.. I attend to create one for
my own in time and in physical size..
About 7-8 days because I didn't knew what exactly to do 
Besides, the burning procedure was to much and difficult enough because the hardness of wood.

You fully deserve it, your crafts are worthy to be worn by gods. Words just cannot describe how I like your stuff, especially that shield.
