Hey friends, it's been a while since the last one of these. I wanted to talk about why aftercare is necessary because it's crazy how intense our feelings can get when we try to connect with other people in certain ways, like hanky panky and bdsm. The drawings illustrate some examples of aftercare, although there are as many forms of aftercare as there are people. Maybe your aftercare is super complicated and involves a scented bath and like a million candles. Maybe it's just talking about what you liked and didn't like and watching tv. As long as it meets all participants' needs, it's good aftercare.

As always, feel free to discuss your own experiences, anything you want to add, or anything you think I should correct. I'm not an expert, just an interested bdsm nerd.

Speaking of Daggerhammer , Nacha helped me a lot with the content for this comic. In particular, she really made me see how aftercare has a purpose in physical, mental, and emotional health all together. She also has some great journals about the tips and wisdom she's learned as a domme, I highly recommend them.
