Halcy and Lacy love bondage, but they also love learning about the intricacies and history of bdsm! Today Lacy teaches us about the differences between SSC and RACK, and why it's important.Some additional history:
The phrase "safe, sane, and consensual" is usually traced back to David Stein in 1983. He wrote it for New York's Gay Male S/M Activists (GMSMA), as part of their general organization statement.
In reaction to dissatisfaction over the implications of SSC, Gary Switch proposed RACK in 1999. It was posted to a precursor of internet forums, in a section run by the Eulenspiegel Society, the longest-running BDSM education and support group in the United States.

I was so excited to see where the BDSM Lessons was going after you sent me the title card, AND BOO WAS IT WORTH THE WAIT! This is amazing, and really educational too.
