Valar Morghulis is a common greeting in Braavos, meaning "all men must die" in High Valyrian.
It's from game of thrones. I thought it funny if perpetuating the misconception of feminists hating men thing.
Though the meaning was originally meant to men "all people must eventually die", men, substituting people as they so often do in speech. it was the last season slogan, used to enforce the high mortality rate of the show...
As I have established Quasi as a fantasy nerd with both Lord of the Ring shirts and game of throne shirts, i thought it be extra alluring for him if Esme wore one as well.
