Hey, I was wondering, and you can say no to this, its not a big deal. My forum is holding its monthly card creation contest based on the Magic: the Gathering card game and I was wondering if I could use this picture for art for my card. The contest is strictly non profit and just for fun, its merely to test our creative and designing skills in creating our own cards. Ah, NU ser jag vad du menar med the androgynous mages! Det passar väldigt bra här...
Skogen är fenomenalt bra målat. Dimman, ljuset, detaljerna i förgrunden och skuggorna i bakgrunden... och hur "hans kjol" (vad konstigt det lät?) växer fram ur marken.
Jag ska kolla närmare på ditt galleri så fort jag sitter vid en snabbare uppkoppling än nuvarande 5 kB/dag.

Hey, no problem, really - I don't know why that would be insulting.
I'm not a d&d player myself, but kind of I grew up with it since my father used to play, and I remember how I loved to study the illustrations in the books - yes, I think they made a big impact on me.
So actually I think I should thank d&d, even though they themselves borrow their stuff from many different sources - mythologies and fairytales etc ... because I think that might be one big reason why I kept drawing so incredibly much as a kid....

I didnt get into D&D until HS, but I think it would have made me...well..
I dont know. My family didnt really support "mystiscm" as dad called it..but somehow I became a strong supporter of D&D type stuff anyways.
But I do agree that D&D picks its stuff from everywhere, and thats what is whats so appealing about it to me really.
The fact that they were the first and STRONGEST force to compile and interweave all fanasty subjects into a tangible and PLAYABLE world.
They to me,and countless others will agree that it will allways be, THE GAME.
If Tolkien was the father of fantasy, then D&D is his "always over to play in the yard" little cousin.

This is just gorgeous. It is so wonderfully rich in detail and the character is very unique. I have never seen the forest spirit portrayed in a way that balances the male and female soul. Well done.

The amount of details and the delicate balance of colors make of this piece a really wonderful image. I also love how naturally the lower part of the body/foliage integrates in the environment.
