Based on Pink Floyd's The Wall.

Collage of book covers, printed out Floyd lyrics, acrylic and watercolors. Sketchbook page. Especially The Trial, Waiting for The Worm, and also Shine On You Crazy Diamond, although I know it's on a different album.

It just fit.

A major problem I encountered with this to being with were the strips of lyrics; They were lily white and did not in any way jive with the whole piece.

So, after some hopeless rearranging, I finally figured out that the problem was not with the placement of the pieces, but the completely unfitting clean color. So, I mixed some watercolors, diluted them down, and lightly washed the strips in the colors;

Made all the difference in the world.

Overall, I'm very happy with the result. It was exactly how I envisioned it. My only regret is not making it into an actual piece; It's only in my sketchbook. But that learning experience stays with me at all times.
