I sit in a world of lightNetworks of light bring my heart to the sky, my core to the earth
Radiating from the hearts of sisters and brothers
I carry my burden as well as I can
Chains of black sludge grip me down in secret, touching my skin
Stirring, the black moon inside me
Dreams of my own heart on a stake,
Dance, Bleed, Die
Need to hand you the knife,
Need to open and wait for death
Desire to destroy what's been built
They stand above me, betraying the light, blocking my skin from the sun
It rips apart inside me, spreads through my veins, the black water
Like ice, needles, the sky rips into me, in every nerve,
Breathing smoke into my lungs, the church of death in my body
Your eyes can never see this blackness
They'll sink in with teeth, pierce down and I'll never see light again
The saint inside of me, on her knees
Sandy storms rip her open, drive flesh into bone,
As I sit here,
in perfect silent terror, in a world of light
Networks of tears connecting my root to the earth, my eyes to the light
Radiating light like a lamp
So that none ever see this darkness.
