Simple yet really, really amazing. I like how the bar's fade from light to dark, and the figure at the bottom looks really haunting.

Morphyne,
This reminds me of a photograph I have of a bride running through the forest at the Dallas Arboretum. But if this is, is she running away before or after the wedding?

The gradients on the forest are incredible. They play tricks on the eyes as you scroll downward- well done. and the feeling of the piece is very very salient. Great work!

What strikes me most in this art piece is the way individual, minuscule details culminate and turn into visceral emotions of fear, tension, ambivalence: The changing brownish shades of trees down their length first hints at the blotting out of sunlight, as if the observer, and perhaps, too, the protagonist, has entered a forbidden land. This same effect within the depth of the image gives me the impression of an approaching fog, something that will soon shroud, engulf, and swallow the lady...
Now everywhere looks the same... tree trunks... fog... land... more land...
The backwards sweeping of the luscious black hair of the lady indicates movement, yet the viewer sees that her escapade is hindered by her flowing gown. She turns back, attempting to assess the enemy, shed her fear, but her eyes dart futilely across an expanse of emptiness. And then she runs...

I love it. Through and through.
And I think the nightmares where you never really see the monster tend to be more frightening than those where the monster is in your face... Your imagination more than makes up for it.

beautiful, although i would have like it if it have been a bit darker, still, gorgeous in its awesome simplicity.
i had a dream where my best friend shot me over a girl. and neither of them were someone i actually knew, but it still bothers me. getting shot is scary.

Oddly, it sort of reminds me of the Disney version of Beauty and the Beast (in a good way!) just from the dress and the running through the woods.
Scary as it might be, sounds like a cool dream to have.
Awesome pic!

wow. I think this is wonderfully done and thought up. Nice idea behind this. I love how you did the girl's dress. I really like how she is faceless, and how you gave her that dress to make it look like she is a princess in a fairytale. And I think that gives the general impression of our dreams. How the trees just climb up infinitely into the sky is a very nice add to this. I really enjoy the colors as well. Fav +.
