I hope you donβt expect perfection from me all the time, because this picture is very, very far from perfect. But, it satisfies an emotion; and thatβs all I wanted it to do.My wanderlust has kicked in again.
Illus 10, ~ 2 hours give or take, 100% freehand (as with all my work) but reference photo used (for just that: reference)~no blowpops, ~one cup of coffee, and a lot of rock and roll.

I expect perfection all the time. Like, all the time. I mean, all artists should be perfect shouldn't they?
I tend to agree it's a bit too dark....and wait...this doesn't have a lot of detail to it? I bet to differ.

a little more detail (e.g. metal parts) could be added. the way the handles looks blended together with the front top of the bike is weird.

Even though I think it's kind of dark, the neon lights are greeeat and just give a nice touch to the darkness of it, IMO anyways.

and since i'm too lazy to update the file- i just wanted to clarify that i was trying to just block in the general shapes and leave the rest for the emotion... as opposed to my usual obsessive detailing.
