I don't own the character, so I can't anyway. What kind of a video are you making?

Donald: How did you get here?
Ludwig: SCIENCE!
(Its a bit obscure... A friend of mine did a comic story where the nephews are trying to help Donald find a better outlet for his stress and that was the best joke in the whole story. )

Personally, theres something about Scrooge coming to Donalds house to help him get better faster by bringing a jar of leeches that makes me smile...
Oh, and Hitlersbrains's been feeling down lately, so leave nice comments.

Very much so! I hope you get to see some of the original cartoons with Ludwig, with his old voice.

AWWW.... Cool desktop!
Gota love Ludwig Von Drake!
I wonder what he would look like for a Vista desktop?

Your Welcome!
Maybe I should look into doing one
with him sometime! Where do you get
screen shots of Ludwig Von Drake anyways?

mouselady In reply to MsLizEzor [2008-11-04 17:33:38 +0000 UTC]
I find pictures of Ludwig on the internet and save them to my hard drive. I have ONE dvd with him (where he's narrating "Mickey and the Beanstalk") and if I had one of those DVD-ripping programs, I'd get some screen caps from that.
I pick out a picture I like, make a desktop bg out of it, then press the "print screen" key. On my MS Paint program (or whatever art program will work with it), I click Edit/Paste, then save the picture.

He doesn't look evil, he just looks annoyed. Sort of like, "What are YOU looking at?" Y'know, with their similar eyebrows and male pattern baldness I wonder if Von Drake is related in any way to St. Canard University's Dean Tightbill.

You noticed that, too?
I even mentioned one time that Dean Tightbill looked like Von Drake on steroids!!
It's kinda hard to tell, but Ludwig's actually smiling. But that expression on his face always looked a little "wicked" to me.

Of course. Now you can start your computer and smile every time you see him appear on the screen.
He looks more proud (of himself) than evil.. like "Ha! Ya know I know lotsa more t'an ya!" (I can't really imitate that smart professtor).

I don't know...that might be a startling sight to wake up to.
But yes, he does look pretty proud, doesn't he? (And I don't blame him---he DOES know more than me!
) (And it's okay, you did fine.
)
Actually, I've got another picture of him on my desktop, and I'll upload that later on.

I'm not surprised. Looking forward to see it though.

I can imagine...though my mind's a little weird that time of the morning (though I don't know when it isn't ). The first thing I don't want to wake up to is Ludwig glaring at me.
I'll upload that piccie sometime soon. I'm sure you'll like it.

Awww, Ludwig! I actually recall a show of him within a live action background and taking a seat in a real chair. I think it belonged to Walt and he took over...briefly. Hehe, I'm amused by all of your icons. Somewhere, I've got a screen shot of my desktop saved from 2005 and it's so bizarre to look at now! All the programs I had back then that I no longer use, crazy!

mouselady In reply to Brinatello [2008-10-17 00:27:34 +0000 UTC]
I think that might have Adventures In Color, or like that. There was also a real cute picture I saw someplace where Ludwig is sleeping in Walt's chair. He had such a sweet expression on his face!
I've got way too many icons, but I need them all. But isn't it something how computer programs change so quickly? Anyhoo, glad you like, thanks!

Brinatello In reply to mouselady [2008-10-17 07:38:20 +0000 UTC]
I know Donald often got into the real world and in Walt's office, driving the poor guy up the wall! I dunno what it is with those ducks and being so silly to their human creators!
My icons are the bare minimum on this computer, but I used to have tons that littered the desktop. Yeah, computers change and upgrade ALL of the time! Hard to keep up with it!

Btw, how do people make these screenshots of their desktops?

mouselady In reply to Vampiressartist [2008-10-13 02:29:16 +0000 UTC]
Aw, thank you! Oh yes, I practically grew up with Ludwig von Drake, and rediscovered him a few years ago.
To make a screenshot, you open up a picture from your hard drive, or one you've downloaded, and right click to "Save as Desktop Background". Once you've got in on your background, press the "print screen" key on your keyboard. Then you go to your Paint program (or whatever art program you use) and click on Edit/Paste. The picture should come up, hopefully; then save it to your hard drive.
