When: June 25, 2018Where: Kölner Zoo Köln/ Cologne, Germany
Some water fountain spray was on in their habitat, and it got a lot of the Bee-Eaters wet. What do you do when you want to dry up as soon as possible? That's right, you spread and worship the sun, even if it does make you look a bit silly
Species: Nubian, Northern or Blue Throated Carmine Bee-Eater (Noordelijke karmijnrode bijeneter)
Latin name: Merops Nubicus
Originates from Africa.
Current status: Least Concern
