Latin name: Psittacula krameri

Originates from parts of Africa and Asia.

Current status: Least Concern

Did you know:

... This species is sexually dimorphic. The male has a red ring around his neck when he matures. Females and adolescent birds have no ring, or a neck ring which is pale in colour to dark grey.
