Age and the scars of quabbles with other Lions (probably mostly his girls and former cubs) look well on just anyone, and I love these signs of a life well-lived on Credo
Species: Southeast African, Transvaal or Kalahari Lion (Witte leeuw)
Latin name: Panthera Leo Krugeri syn. Panthera Leo Melanochaita
Originates from southern Africa, rangingfrom southern Namibia to southeastern Mozambique.
Did you know:
…Southeast African Lion are a subspecies of the African Lion.
…White Lions are a color mutation of Transvaal Lions. This is called leucism, and in Lions it only occurs in this particular subspecies.
