The young kit is such a ragged looking youngster That tail is a lot of fun to watch, like a little rough brush. And his coat is so pale! Very unlike his parents, but very beautiful Hopefully he's still there, and we can see him again - easily distinguishable - once the zoos reopen after this lockdown...

Species: Yellow Mongoose (Gele of vosmangoeste)

Latin name: Cynictis Penicillata

Originates from Southern Africa.

Current status: Least Concern.
