what i dig most about your work is how different it is. you seem to either naturally have a knack of hitting things from different perspective/angle or you work hard at attaining a freshness and visual interest that people like me appreciate. as an artist, art director and manager i always look for that 'extra' thing or 'special sauce' that grabs me. keep up the great work!

So you roughly block in the colours, then go back in with a smaller brush to refine them?

for some reason, it bears certain resemblance of metal slug style.... probably cuz of black and orange combination and usage of X mark.... ANYWAY, it's AWESOME!

hey Mr--Jack LOVE your work.
I am really keen on doing some pieces in this gestural, 'speed-paint' style, and I couldn't help but noticing that you are not using a normal brush (especially in those first stages of colouring, what with those beautiful, fat square strokes). Anyway, I guess I was wondering if you'd be so kind as to give any tips on what kind of brushes to use?
And finally once again, your work is incredible.

interesting process.. you are using a square brush right? How do you set the rotation settings for that one? XD

Yep, square brush just set with rotation to 'direction' so it follows the stroke.
