If you watched it's portrait animation long enough in the original starcraft, a weird little, two armed creature would stick it's head out, I'm assuming it's a glaive wurm.

Really like this one, the glowing green light coming from the thingy mouth thing give this peice a strange feel. The tones on the wing membrane have been done really well. Nice face claws too
