Description
So, during initial development on HotS we did a push to revisit the couple of BW zerg units that didn't make it into Liberty already, and I worked up a couple of concepts for the missing beasties.The Queen was an interesting one, since we did technically have a 'Queen' unit in SC2, but one that bore very little resemblance to the original version - so this time around I stuck pretty faithfully to that iteration.
The final version (modeled by the much-esteemed *PhillGonzo ) had the front webbing removed, which, as he puts it, "effectively made her look a bit more sinister and less like an umbrella."

I remember Starcraft 1 I buy it in 2003 and I have still now but it doesn't work, I like have it, I remember me and my brother sitting on the couch watching the tv and a commercial say "buy Starcraft now and you can have it the expansion the best strategy game ever made by blizzard" me and my brother we bought it and we played thoghether all the time one mission him one mission me. I really enjoyed that game, I want play it now.

Impressive concept, but the original Queen is a unit I will certainly NEVER miss, waste of minerals that she was. Still, it would have been nice to see Phill's models animated.

I think she's available in the editor in HotS, looks pretty cool flying around.
I definitely miss it too; maybe not from hardcore multiplayer but broodlings were definitely pretty sweet and there was nothing quite like stealing someone's command center
