MANIPULATION

I held Draw Tom Ripley Contest in 2011 and KING KONG AND I contest in 2015
with 40,000+ and 20,000+ respectively just to attract many skillful artists to join.
I know it's crazy and too expensive for a personal contest, and it made me poor for years to be able to host a contest again.
Moreover, I had to cope with some contestants who recruited people from their whole country everytime I started the voting. LMAO

Now it's time for me to host my 3rd contest.
To prevent those problems, this time the prize is going to be smaller unless it's Godzilla And I contest.
And to reach more contestants, I open for some friends to be co-hosts who are willing to help me promote the contest,
judge the winners and give some as prize.

CONTEST'S THEME

Little Red Riding Hood is a European fairy tale about a young girl and a big bad wolf.
Her mother ordered the girl to walks through the woods to deliver food to her sick grandmother.
The Big Bad Wolf wants to eat the girl and the food in the basket.

He secretly stalks her behind trees, bushes, shrubs, reality, and patches of little and tall grass.
He approaches Little Red Riding Hood, and she naively tells him where she is going.

He suggests that the girl pick some flowers, which she does.
In the meantime, he goes to the grandmother's house and gains entry by pretending to be the girl.
He swallows the grandmother whole (in some stories, he locks her in the closet)

and waits for the girl, disguised as the grandma.

RULES
1.Your mission is to make a scene from this story. It must contain a girl in red costume and a wolf.It would be nice if you can keep your concept true to the original story.
However, I give you freedom to add your own imagination in your work as well.
I don't mind if you put more than one wolf or just a body part of a wolf.
The wolf can be ordinary animal, a werewolf monster or a wolf in disguise, etc.
Please keep the fact in mind that the wolf is not her buddy. He is a danger that wants to eat her.Please don't make a picture of a girl and a wolf standing or lying together peacefully like they are best friends that live happily ever after.

2.Your entry must be photomanipulation or mixed media between photomanipulation and other media. I know it's not easy to find a really scary wolf stock, but it's not too hard to find some wolves that look untamed and fit the theme.

The harder thing is that there are not many practical red-riding-hood girl provided as stocks.
By the way, you can also look for other girl stocks with costume in any other color and then change it into red color later.
If she doesn't have a hood, please add something red on her head too.
(If you don't know how to change color, there are many tutorials on internet. It's not hard at all. )
You can use any legitimate stock from any website you want.

3.Only one entry per person. But you can improve or change your entry as much as you want before the deadline. (And besides joining this manipulation contest, you also can compete in drawing contest too if you want.)
This contest is open for artists in intermediate and advanced levels.
If the quality of your entry is much lower than standard, It may not be accepted.
Prize donors can also compete in this contest but hosts can't.

4.Your entry must be new and made especially for this contest after Feb 24, 2017.

5.In the description underneath your entry, you must...
-state that it's an entry for "Red Riding Hood Contest" with a link back to this journal.
-put direct links to all the pages of the stock images that you used. Please don't just put a link to the profile page of stock owners.

6.No watermark on your entry.

If you want to put your name or signature, please place it carefully.

Too big fonts on a wrong position can ruin your beautiful work and your chance to win.

Judgement
When the contest is closed. There will be 2 voting rounds open.

Public round will be open for everybody on DA to vote.
Everyone can vote for 4 best entries.
(1 vote = 1 score in this round)

Host round is only for me and co-host(s) to vote.
The score depends on the amount of that each host put in the prize.
(100 = 10 scores)

For example :
If ้a host donates 200 for the prize. He will have 20 scores to give to 4 entries
( But in this round, the 4 entries that were voted by each host will get different scores.)
the first entry in his list will get 40% of the scores he has (40% of 20 scores =8 scores)
The second entry will get 30% of the scores he has (=6 scores)

The third entry will get 20% of the scores he has (=4 scores)

The forth entry will get 10% of the scores he has (=2 scores)
