Serina fanart

The Serinian Skunk (or Sku-unk) is a Skuorc descendant of the early hothouse age, and a likely a relative of the four horned petatrel.

Like it it is an omnivore, rather solitary and can heal skin wounds very fast.

However it is not as agressive, and its beak is much weaker.

They primarily feed on carrion, and have an unique ability. They can projectile vomit their foul smelling and very acidic stomach contents, and could potentially blind attackers with their vomit.

They like to steal from kills of larger predators, and since they are comparably small, they will eat only a small amount of the carcass and leave most of the food to the predator. And with their ability to projectile vomit with impressive precision, they are usually left alone.

If projectile vomiting proves to be ineffective, they can still flee with remarcable speed. If this too is futile, they have a tail armored with quills that they can wave around, these quills may be short, but they can pierce through hides of attacker just like porcupine quills and are quite painfull. There are quills on the back of this creature too, but they are usally hidden by its fur coat.

Finally if left with no other choice, they will bite their attackers, and while their jaws are weaker then those of the four horned petatrel, they can still inflict serious injuries, cutting through muscles, tendons and ligaments and possibly even breaking bones.
