Nothing like a little romance in the midst of the wreckage of a world war. Poor Sarah and Milo are so put upon, I thought at least for a moment they ought to have a little happiness together. Most of my readers called this one at the end of the last page. But since in print the pages face, it all reads as a single scene, so I think it'll work out in the end. Also, It took a little doing to get Milo's hair right - the first few takes were... just terrible.
