Description
This week was killer, and I only had about half an hour of actual drawing time. Unless you count the architectural designs I was doing all week long, which I don't. But you could. Anyway, in the vein of reimagining some of my characters, this is Captain Riccio with a slightly simpler and more cartoony stylee. He "feels" more like the character I want him to be, even though he's less literally drawn and detailed. It's funny how that happens. I feel like the level of detail will stay high in technical and background design, but the characters are getting consistently more iconic. Maybe it's my inner "Hergé" instinct asserting itself.
