The Slender Man-
Here's a little tribute to this mythical character created by Eric Knudsen in 2009 on Something Awful. Slenderman. One of the most if not THE most popular creepypasta of all time. It's a late tribute to the character since the hype train surrounding this one and creepypastas in general has died down a long time ago. Such a shame in retrospect for it was a surprising phenomenon of collective storytelling, spreading a new kind of folklore filled with interesting characters. I first came in contact with Slenderman through the games: Slender the 8 pages and all the different iterations of it. They were not great by any stretch but they were part of what spread the character. I hope you will enjoy my take/design of the character π

Amazing work! Really the Slender figure is one of the most significant character of horror folklore lately. Unfortunately iΒ still did not play games about him, but only read stories about him. I also wanted to get acquainted with his story through the film, which was released last year, but he did not impress me at all.Β Also your version of the Slenderman image reminded me a little of the 'Grail' creature from a strange movie "Cold & Dark".

And yeah I do agree the movie sadly was not as cool as it could have been, but I think it's because the character has lost a lot of traction trough the years, basically the movie came too late. No one is as interested in the character as people were when it came out. I have played a bunch of the games, mainly the 8 pages suff but it is repetitive as hell and didn't aged well I think. If there is one game to play I think it would be Slender The Arrival. 
Thank you, the design was just me trying to do something different with the face at least. I was laways a bit let down by the blank face, featureless.. The character has no eyes, no mouth, no nose and I wanted to stay true to its description but with more contrasts to it you know
