Lancer team is an elite deep recon team made of experimental next generation Beta troopers known as Delta Troopers, These troopers mix the best of organic and cybernetic implants. they have cybernetics attached to most critical organs which allow for increased stamina and low metabolism so they need less food, they are also nearly immune to every disease or infection due to their blood boosters. basically their immune systems' are in overdrive.

the Lancers are the first units to encounter and report on the Covenant of the Empire, after they were sent to investigate a pair of missing ships (one from the Imperius and one from the First Order) as well as all their crew.
