Done for the Halloween Art Challenge! held by I chose "We can be evil too!" regardless of the fact that Chun-Li already has an evil side, A.K.A. Shadow Lady, but... it's not that special. Had loads of fun with this one.
Drawn while commuting to and from work on the bus; colored in Photoshop.

Horns are wrong oni have strait horns and curved and enlarged upper and lower canines. Also claws on fingers and toes.

That's CAUSE he's not a oni, he's just a darkness possed emo jerk of a human. Onies are not and never where humans. A oni is a ten foot tall humanoid with 1 to 3 short strate horns, red, yellow, blue or green skin tone, gold or red eyes claws on there hands and feet,and have a mouth full of sharp teeth with enlarged curved canines. The dress in ether lose fit armor or tiger skins or other animal hid loinecloths. They eat meat humans and human souls,love to drink lots of saki and fight and have red, black, blue or white hair and came control elemental magic earth fire water lighting and wind.
The akuma guy has some traits of a oni but he's still a mortal. Oni skin is like steel sword are said to brake pain impact, and the oni carried Kanabo I giant iron spiked clubs whaing in the hundreds of tones. Japan has a swing a oni with a kanabo means strength with no limit.
Akuma or what ever his name is nothing but a bug to a lowclass oni.

I understand where you're coming from and I've already looked up the origin for Oni prior to submitting this piece, but the point I'm trying to make here is that I'm not shooting for accuracy. I am fully aware that she's not a true Oni. It was simply a play on names, if you will, because of the fact that in Super Street Fighter IV AE Edition 2013, the demonic version of Akuma is named "Oni". Since I didn't want to go with a "Evil Chun-Li" or "Dark Chun-Li" title; I chose to pick on "Oni".
In a nutshell, I already know, and, to be honest, I can't say I care.
