Wow, you really captured that creepy element that clowns are all about! With some critique: the shadow in the bottom-left corner looks a little awkward and the flash seems to have made some strange lines at the top on the wall - it just makes the black look a little less dramatic.

see, i'm one of those people who doesn't like clowns. but this shot is something else.
the make-up is flawless, the expression is perfect, and the dark background fits perfectly by bringing into focus the subject.
that white collar thingie around the neck is also just great. it really brings something to the photograph.
and then the concept: the hanging of one of happiness' symbols. yup

there were others with eyes staring, but i thought the dead eye looked better in this insance
as for the noose, i did have one laying around a few month ago, but id untied it recently so had to retie

normally this sort of image creeps me out a bit too much but i have to say that i have never scene this subject handled so artfully. simply beautiful... it is hard to believe that clowns or hanging could be ever thought of as beautiful.... but you have done it.

i was trying to be subtle with the intention of the piece, so it was almost a 'hey wait a minute, i get it now' kind of thing ... so it looking pretty had to be the first thing someone saw
