Description Oddly enough, Red Riding Hood is one of my favorite fairy tales... mostly because of the various re-writes done of the tale. This one is vaguely based off some story I read in college where the wolf is a werewolf, Red Riding Hood falls in love with him, and becomes a wolf, herself.... and then I kinda sorta made this even more twisted by basing the chars off my husband and myself...

Done in Prismacolor Pencils.

Tee hee, I love this version, too Especially when you consider that some psychologists love to analyze the fairytale, assuming the Little Red Riding Hood just started to mature and the Wolf represents her desires she has to be wary of for now
So, a few years later... why not love the wolf?
Not to mention he looks hot in the picture

Ha ha ha. Yeah. I took a fairy tales course in college and the teacher was all about finding the hidden "sex" in fairy tales.

Then let's take this as a little revenge on these analyzes... at least I will

Ha ha ha. Me too. I can't count how many times he yelled at us "WHAT ABOUT FREUID?! What does he say about this!?"

He would make me long to strangle him... Everytime someone dissects a fairytale, myth or dream in this way, I marvel at the interesting parts and grind my teeth over the rest.
Especially when the one who does the analyzis acts as if the meaning s/he sees is the only right one.

Oh yes. I did want to strangle him. He gave me a crap grade on my midterm because we were supposed to watch and analyze "Into the Woods" and then write our analysis into some 8 page long paper. My paper touched on how the play shows what happens when people are bad parents... he gave me a C and wrote on the top "I think you're reaching. What about Freuid?"

C isn't that bad
I don't understand teachers who concentrate on one attitude only. There are many ways how to analyze stories, myths and so on. Have he even touched other schools? What about [link] ? What about critics of these analyzes? It's part of the subject, too!

By the way, it should be Freud, so if he wrote his name as Freuid, he taught you a mistake on top of being unbearable.

Ha ha ha. No... I just mispell his name because I hate the man and he deserves it. Ho-ho.

I dislike him, too - he was a genius, granted, very brave to stand for his ideas back then, and psychology wouldn't be what it is without him, but he was convinced his is the only truth in the world, too, and I hate these people.
I wouldn't want to be his patient. He was the type who would come up with a diagnosis and then force you to comply with it...

I wouldn't want to be his patient either. Although it's not commonly known, he was a coke addict and prescribed it constantly to his patients. 0.o
