Hmm, you want your followers to think of what happened? My theory is that Shadow is still suffering from Stockholm Syndrome after being kidnapped by Rouge, but Sonic, Silver, Sticks, and the police got him out and arrested Rouge anyway, but he fought so much and is in so much denial that they had to lock him up so he wouldn't try to go back to her. He's locked up so they can try and treat him for his condition.
