...At night thunderstorm started. Samuel and five other men were still pursuing the stallion in the dark and furious prarie badgered by lightnings here and there. Suddenly, thunder burst out. Batman, frightened and tired by the long chase, reared up whinning and almost slipping on the wet grass. The men were two miles away running at a full tilt with their lasso ropes at the ready. They had to catch the stallion by all means.
