UPDATE 2/3/15: updated age and backstory

Name: Spyle Nikolai Scintilla

Age: 19

Birthday: June 24th

Gender: Male

Height: 5’ 3”

Species/Race: Pesko/Meoolian

Strengths/skills/abilities:

Mental: Spyle is good at making others smile, and is very sympathetic towards others. He has a lot of love for those he cares about, and often puts their needs ahead of his (even if this is detrimental to him). He’s a natural problem-solver who can come up with creative solutions when he needs to. He’s a quick thinker when he needs to be, but typically takes his time to perfect an idea if given the opportunity. He only uses violence as a last resort.

Physical: He has a lot of energy, so he doesn’t tire easily. His teeth are also very strong and can be useful in fights. Though they aren’t very sharp, he has strong jaws that could dent solid metal if the situation called for it. He’s generally agile and light on his feet. His eyes work like a chameleon’s, so he can look two places at once.

Weaknesses/drawbacks/disabilities:

Mental: Though his sympathy and care are positives, his emotional personality has its negative effects as well. He’s moody and though he’s not quick to become upset, he’s still quite touchy when he’s in a bad mood. Often he can take a fair amount of negativity and stress, though at a certain point he’ll simply “snap”, and break down crying. He can also get irrationally angry at these times. If you hurt, insult, or upset those he cares about, this will anger him greatly, and if pushed too far, he can get “blinded” by rage and not think straight. He also has a tendency to be clingy. His nonviolence makes him unprepared for physical fighting.

Physical: He doesn’t have much natural physical strength. His skin is weak and very prone to scratches, punctures, etc. His vision is below average, but not so bad that he needs glasses. When he’s up high, it throws off his focus and entire sense of balance. When using his eyes to look two places at once, he loses his sense of depth and becomes dizzy, even nauseous if held out for too long.

Backstory:

Spyle is an average Pesko teen of Meoolian descent from the first moon of planet Cale (known unofficially as ”Metropolis”). His favorite activities include dancing, solving logic puzzles, and watching movies, especially low-budget films. Though he had a few shady friends back on Metropolis, he managed to stay out of trouble for most of his childhood. He now attends community space college, where he transferred in as a sophomore. He stays in fairly regular contact with his friends back home. Though he did make a few new friends at space college, none were as close to him as those back home. His best friend is his art-major roommate, Marcone.
