Man, I haven't done figure painting in a while. I used to do a ton of Transformers PVC painting, but then they basically stopped making them, so my options were getting more and more limited.

But I love R2 units, and there's still a ton of them from the movies not yet done in the figure line (though "Droid Factory" is hitting a lot of highlights), so, shazam. Pulled these two out of A New Hope... looking at em in the film, they appear to use the same body, just different noggins.

The R2 is the Marvel-colors comic pack version, which took some doing to remove the blue from his foot-canister thingies.
