Description
This is supposed to be Kas'im, Sith blade master durring the old republic and Darth Bane's Mentor. The only description of him I can remember from the book(Star Wars: Darth Bane: Path of Destruction) called him a muscular, heavily tattooed, Twi'lek; who weilds a double-bladed Lightsaber. So based on that, I made him muscular, tattooed, and holding a double-bladed lightsaber. The only point of contention between his description and my depiction would be his skin color. They didn't say what it was in the book(at least I can't remember) so I made him green. And I didn't make him green for any good reason, it's just that in my mind, all Twi'leks are green by default.

Mine is just a line drawing though ready for the painting. I would have gone for a blue colouration and red tattoos but i run the risk of turning him into a demented navi.

I've seen this deviation before, but I'd like to take the time to comment on it now. I absolutely love this. It really helps me visualize what Kas'im would look like while I read, and in my opinion you've captured a wonderful expression for him. I also love the scars and tattoos on his chest.

Nice, Kas'im was one of the best chars in path of Destruction, it's a shame what happened to him, he'd have made a great apprentice for Bane

Kas'im was a good teacher, but I don't think he would have made a very good apprentice for Bane. Because unlike Zannah, Kas'im doesn't have the potential to surpass him. Kas'im was still pretty awesome.

Kas'im wouldn't been like Darth Maul and Vader (post lava bath), a good placeholder while Bane looked for someone better with more potential. As much as I like Kas'im, he was too much of a sheep, Bane needed a wolf to stand at his side in his new order

Kas'im was one of the greatest characters in that book, besides Bane of course. I'm happy someone made a picture of him, I also agree, most Twi'leks are green by default.

O.o Very nice. The sunken eyes give him a very Sith-esque feels, while, well, one cannot go wrong by posting pictures of built, tattooed male Twi'leks.
