Il tuo chiaroscuro è davvero ben fatto! Mi piace meravigliosamente come il tuo tratto fa sì che il disegno risulti una statua, tanto il chiaroscuro è modellato.
Complimenti

Thank you! Luckily each day was only 2.5 hours, so it was not quite as boring for her (I hope!)

I'm going to attend conceptual course next year but there will also be live drawing, it's the best but I always wonder that the model thinks all that time I hope so too

Good for you, it sounds like you will have very well rounded training. I modeled for an art class before and mostly tried to clear my mind so I would not get nervous. In my case it was only portrait modeling, I can't imagine how models who pose nude must feel!

If you ever get a chance, I would definitely recommend trying figure modelling (at least sitting for someone you trust for a couple of sessions).
I did this several times for friends (photographers) many years ago, and I feel it benefited my understanding of the feeling of both vulnerability and freedom of figure modeling.
It also helped me understand the challenge of finding poses that are both possible to do and interesting to photograph...

I imagine it must help quite a lot, I gained a lot of knowledge just from sitting as a portrait model. I think I would be too shy to do a full figure pose, though.Β Β
If only the models I work with could hold the kinds of poses you photograph!

I can understand shy - I'm incredibly shy (at parties I stand in the corner and my wife drags people over to talk to me) - I'm so camera shy, there are very few photos of me after the age of 10 or 12. I will tell you, should you ever nerve yourself up to try it, you'll be petrified for 15-20 minutes. After 2 hours, you'll walk around like it is no big deal.
I've worked with many people (male and female) who had never posed nude before and my experience seems to be fairly common!
If you should ever try it, the important thing is to try it with someone you trust. That helps a *lot*.Β
As far as posing - that is my advantage as a photographer - The models only have to hold the pose for a few seconds or at the most a minute or two. My disadvantage is that I have to get it right in camera - it is difficult to change foot or hand position after the image is snapped, so I spend most of my time studying the details.
I know many traditional artists around here try for the best of both worlds - they take reference photos to draw from. However, in your work, there is a liveliness and depth you are getting from drawing completely from life that I'd be afraid of losing when drawing from reference photos.
I look forward to seeing your future work!

It is nice to know I am not the only shy one, although I would not have assumed you were shy at all. I always think of talented artists as outgoing, life of the party types.
I suppose having to hold a pose for just a minute or so makes posing nude a little easier for the models, but I cannot imagine trying to get everything in just the right place and then photograph it in that small amount of time. I really am in awe of the work you're able to produce!
Thank you again for such kind words, you've really made my day.
