Commission gift for the extremely patient and sweet couple - Jessie (Dbane ) and Danielle. Thank you two so much!!
I felt the first commission I drew them (ink on paper; Anime Weekend Atlanta 2011) was really poor, so I drew them a new one! I'm so sorry for making everyone wait for me to finish a newer commission over the older ones. I thought this would take 12 hours less than it did - I kept redoing things, especially the background, which I erased in the end - Jessie, Danielle, and all, I hope this looks all right!

Interesting stylistic combinations, from the simple anime inspired features to the heavy digital work to the almost water-color pallet, all very well integrated. The tender and gentle theme is still maintained within the context of the tremendous amount of activity within the piece, I really enjoy the dichotomy.
