Description
During my recent trip to Durham, NC I discovered some interesting trees. I'm not quite sure what the name of them is but the bark seemed to peel off them.This was a close up shot done in B&W. (if you look close you can see a bug hiding in the bark.)

Very nice picture.
Are those trees kind of white? If yes I've seen them too. You can peel them some and use what you can gather as a kind of paper to start fires in the wilderness, pretty cool.
