A very striking piece, I can see why it was chosen as a Daily Deviation.
The unrealism of the piece drew me to it, very "sincity-ish" rain and background really make the cars stand out in the foreground. I'm very impressed with the light refelection off the cars as well as the reflections on the ground. Might have come across a little more realistic if there were puddles around the base of each car.
The choice in cars is interesting, as is the colouring of each car. The red car, being the only item of colour seems to become the focus of this piece, drawing the eye to it easily. It's almost hard to actually pull away from the red car and focus on the other two.
All in all a very striking piece, and out of all the DD's today this was the one that grabbed my attention straight away. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your gallery.

a work that draws attention at first sight.
passionate about cars and art does not contain the curiosity to view it
a special point in the work is its size in widescreen format
the composition has a perfect harmony
the choice of 3 models of cars was very tasteful.
models provide a feeling of strength and power that go great with the force of nature (a storm) and the grandeur of the metropolis
the colors of the cars are well chosen, not allowing one attracted more attention than others
I highlight only negative point as the rain drops do not convey realism, but on reflection it is better to be so because the theme is cars and not the background.
in my opinion is a flawless work.e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c… " width="20" height="20" alt="

Ok.
Here goes my critique!
even though I'm a girl I must admit i know a lot about cars. And cars do fascinate me. (i actually wanted to work in this domani, can you image that?).
I like how the cars are posed. From small to big.It gives a nice touch and symmetry to the whole piece.
Also, the background couldn't be better. A city and a stormy sky, with loads of rain around.
Power, force,it drives you in that "Fast and furious mood".
As about the technique, I can't see any mistake. you payed attention to the details - the reflection of the cars in wet ground, the blending, the rain drops popping from the cars, everything looks so real!
I guess you used HDR, it kinda looks like that you know?
Anyway, i'm glad I came of to see this work.
I really love it!e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h… " width="15" height="13" alt="

Thanks for the critique
I did not HDR it one bit. I was tempted though! Was mainly Gradient Maps, Curves Adjustments, Levels here and there with a High Pass overlay.

you made it look like HDR - but that is a very good thing!

This is amazing! And you put my favorite car in the world, the Shelby GT500, in biggest proportion to the other two. Just astonishing, really! Right down to the waterry reflections of the cars' front facias. Definately going on my favorites!

The rain is really fitting; shows you how ridiculously outnumbered we are, and yet we keep fighting.
Truly is Detroit's darkest hour.
