Postcard from the Everfree Forest, postmarked May 12, 1003 CEDear Miss Swiftwing and Inspector,
We are doing well. Zecora has been showing us the inhabitants of the Everfree and encouraging us to learn about them. Hua thought that we should try to befriend some of them. We (Hua, again) decided to name this creature 'Manny', since it's called a manticore.
Our first tries weren't too bad, but Manny is ... excitable. I'll make Hualpa tell you about that in the next letter.
