I was only so youngWhen he took me in

It was all too late
I watched his eyes turn dark
Still and motionless
A depressing evening that day
A fight had broken out between sides
And we'd lost half our family
Not half, but six disappeared
Only leaving their blood shed in war
Non of them went fair
But they did go brave
And will be respected with the rest
As we bow down in silence
Where we sit vigil
The good memories will rain on us
Along with the tears
Caused by the bad memories
But we'll cope crookedly

Always remember nothing is bad
When it held some good in a locket
